Saturday Introduction to Hatha Yoga: Level 1

An event every week that begins at 10:00 am on Saturday, repeating indefinitely
This class focuses on the essential themes of Hatha yoga by introducing students to the fundamental asanas (postures) of Yoga. Students will be guided through standing postures, back bends, inversions, forward bends and twists as well as basic breathing, and relaxation techniques stimulating core activity. Yoga postures/asanas will be described and demonstrated in a step-by-step process creating an ideal environment for yoga beginners and those that wish to go back to their beginners mind/back to basics to deepen their practice. This class will help increasing flexibility, strengthen the body, and revitalising the mind.
