It’s that time of year again—our annual Yoga Retreat !
I am thrilled for this year’s retreat for so many reasons.
- This year, I will be accompanied by two additional wellness experts (and personal friends of mine) : certified professional coach, Zeva Bellel, and talented chef and food stylist, Elea Di Lorezno.
- We have a lovely new location close to Paris on the RER!!!
- And last but not least, it will be another opportunity to share a beautiful experience with all of you that promises to be full of growth, health and lots of Yoga!
The retreat will be 4 days and 4 nights from July 18-22. Arrival will be at 10h on Wednesday, July 18th, for a welcome brunch and departure will be on Sunday, July 22nd, around 15h.
We will be a total of 45 mins outside up Paris tucked away in the woods of a beautiful castle. Our location is easily accessible by RER (Gare Dourdan) and a very close walk to the cute little village. I can pick you up from the train station, no worries 😉
The cost of the retreat will be 850€ for room sharing, with an early bird discount of 10% until April 30th!
We have enough space for 14 guests.
There are 3 rooms with double beds. So if you are a couple or two friends that want to share a double bed you will split the cost of 1500€ (750€ each person), or if you are a single person in search of solitude and would like to rent a double bedroom for you alone, you will be charge 950€ ( as you will be taking up the space of two people).
This price of the retreat includes the following:
- Meals (delicious vegan and gluten free)
- 2 Yoga classes a day, for all levels (a 30 min silent meditation in the morning followed by a 90 min Hatha Yoga class, then in the evening a 90 min Restorative Yoga class)
- 1 cooking class with Elea Di Lorenzo on bento philosophy, plus a gift bag
- A group coaching workshop, plus individual 45 minute one-on-one coaching sessions with Zeva Bellel to help you define and achieve your most important goals.
What to expect at the retreat:
A nice safe environment to purify your body and mind, with a great group of people.
It is a drug free space. No smoking or drinking of alcohol will take place during these 4 days and nights. This is a time for you to clean your body and your mind. Myself, Elea and Zeva will be there to support you on this journey.
Most of you know me already, so no need to introduce myself, but I will give you a brief description of what I hope for you to achieve by treating yourself to a Yoga Retreat.
For me the goal of going on a Yoga Retreat is to immerse yourself in practice. And what is our practice, you may ask? Yoga is an inward journey. A discovery of self. Learning to build daily rituals where you can find the true meaning of Yoga: union between mind, body and spirit.
My personal goal is to guide you through all parts of a true Yogic practice, not just the asana/posture practice. We will discuss Yoga Philosophy, Ayurveda, Chant, Meditate and so much more to allow you to go deeper, helping you to build a better home practice and build stability and balance into your urban lifestyles.
Zeva and Elea with play a big role in supporting your yoga practice.
Elea is a wonderful chef and food stylist who has worked with me as my sous chef and partner on many projects over the past 4 years. She will be nourishing our bodies during the retreat and treating us to some of her expertise during her cooking class that she will offer you on composing healthy easy meals in a Bento philosophy workshop.
Zeva, a longtime friend, has collaborated with me on a number of occasions while she was Marketing Director at Yelp France. She will lead you on an a fun and creative group workshop to visualize your goals and then dive deeper during 45mn private sessions so that each of you leave the retreat with more clarity, confidence and practical steps on how to bring those goals to life.
Meet Elea and Zeva.
The Chef : Elea
I’m Elea Di Lorenzo, an enthusiastic Argentinian cook & food-stylist whose life is permeated by food every minute. I cook for cameras and styling sets for restaurants, food editorials, brands, lifestyle & travel agents. For the last 14 years I constantly travelled and discovered different culinary traditions.
Graduated in 2004 in Cooking & Pastry, Food trends and Sustainability in Islas Malvinas École in Mendoza Argentina, I continued discovering food across Latin America and specialised in Restaurants Management & Advising.
I also organise gatherings, menu planning for social events and caterings all around sustainable, local and fair trade products. Food is a central value of my life as well as constant travelling and discovering. I enriched my experience and kept moving forward through tasting new flavours, connecting with (un)known local food cultures, enlarging my prop-styling collection in design boutiques, brocantes and flea markets as well as supporting local ceramists. This is what my personal signature is made of.
I believe that food is so actively necessary and present in our daily lives that we could not grow as human beings without the trilogy food-culture-emotions whose value I communicate and share with my work.
In my future I wish to continue and deepen my experience with food-journalism and photography, through the roads of the local cuisine , sustainable and fair food production and processes.
The Coach: Zeva
Hello, my name is Zeva Bellel. I’m a native New Yorker who moved to Paris after university with just a suitcase in hand and haven’t left since. After ten years as an international journalist and seven years as Marketing Director at Yelp, I followed my passion and became a professional coach to help people rock the pants off of life and become the best versions of themselves. I work predominantly with established and emerging women managers, entrepreneurs and small business owners to boost their clarity, confidence, creativity and intuition. During our week together I will do group and private coaching sessions to dig into your most pressing goals and uncover the actions, attitudes and habits needed to start making headway on them. I am also a mom to two adorable Franco-American boys. I know Paris like the back of my hand, and I love to cook, dance and laugh to the point of tears, which you’ll likely see me do often during our time together.
Zeva, Elea and myself are looking forward to sharing this amazing experience with you all !
