This week we will use Kriyas (repetitive movements) to boost our energy, promote mental clarity, and rid the body of toxins. A more Dynamic approach to our last weeks Yin Yoga practice, to help show you different ways in Yoga that we can release trapped emotions, balance the energies in our bodies, improve digestion, and clear the mind.
During our Kriya practice we will use a series of postures, breath, and sound. Initiating a sequence of physical and mental changes that affect the body, mind, and spirit simultaneously. We will focus on Kriyas that balance the glandular system, increase the circulation, open the joints, and redirect the mind through concentration and focus. Each Kriya having a different effect, but all working together to realign the body mentally and physically in preparation for the New Year.
